The Tigray Disability Organizations Union (TDOU) is conducting a two-day training on disability-inclusive budgeting for social sector heads, finance officials, and civil service leaders from Enderta Woreda.

The training aims to strengthen disability-inclusive governance within the woreda government structure by enhancing participants’ understanding of how disability perspectives can be integrated into government planning, budgeting, and service delivery processes.

A total of 11 participants, including the trainer, are taking part in the training, which runs from June 17–18, 2026.

Through the training, participants are gaining practical knowledge and skills to promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities in local government programs and budget decisions, contributing to more equitable and accessible public services.

The training is financially supported by the European Union through the Civil Society Fund Plus (CSF+) Programme and is co-implemented with Christian Aid.
